Family Thanksgiving Celebration 11/20   This year we’d like to broaden our Thanksgiving Celebration and invite all family members. We realize that for many of you this is your first opportunity to see your child participate in a school program and it’s hard to miss it!  The children will perform in the Sanctuary at 9:15 and then everyone will be invited back to a reception in Fellowship Hall.  At 10:30 we’ll gather at the new WIPP Playground for its official dedication.  We won’t be able to play on it because the sod will still be rooting, but it will give everyone a chance to see it in its finished form.  (Fingers crossed!)
*Photography by Lori will be available to take pictures after the program.  The cost is $9 for a 5X7 photo and is payable at that time.
*This is not a regular school day for us so there will be no carpool, Early Birds, or Lunch Bunch.  Children will be dismissed after the program with their families to attend the reception and playground dedication.

Opportunities to Share

Too Much Halloween Candy?  Share With the Troops!
We will be collecting unopened candy to send to our troops in Afghanistan.  Send it to school with your child on Friday 11/2.  Helen Bradley (Joseph’s grandmom) has volunteered to pick up any candy collected at WIPP and take it to Simply Children’s Dentistry.  (You can also drop the candy off on your own this Friday from 5-8 pm at 603 Stephenson Ave, Suite 201.)

Canned Goods Drive:  We will be collecting canned goods for Second Harvest through November 16th.  If you can help us help families in need, please send in any non-perishable food for our collection.

Thank you again for all you do!
