Featured Class: Miss Heather/Miss Wendy's TTh 2s

Miss Kathleen could hear Miss Heather's TTh class singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" before Miss Caitlin even sat down, so she was sure she would get a great performance with the camera...Maybe the camera put a damper on their voices!  Click on the link below to see.

But she did see a few seconds of dancing!  If you click on the link below the picture, you can too.

Then Miss Kathleen came back a little later to see us enjoy our special birthday snack--and to work on some turkey stickers.  Peeling those stickers really helps with fine motor skills!

Featured Class: Ms. Brittany/Mrs. Horton

Miss Kathleen got to spend some time with this class today because Miss Brittany had to leave early.  The boys and girls in this class are so grown-up!  Before Miss Brittany left they showed off all of the B words that they found in the picture:  bees on blooms; bears with buttons; bushes with blossoms; and a lot more!

Then Miss Caitlin came in and they practiced their Thanksgiving songs.  (If you'd like to see a quick video of one of their songs, click here  https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/Bp6NmgcR-KTZQXf_UCLOXjzMFkxn0eZaRF3zopWbaks?feat=directlink )

After Music they practiced sorting colors--even with snack!

Then they worked on one of the pages for their end-of-the-year books.  They did a beautiful job coloring fall leaves and gourds and a cornucopia.

As everyone finished, they came up on the rug to look at books.  Miss Kathleen read a book about sharks and then it was time to go outside.
