School Supply Lists

Below is a copy of the emails that went out to parents this weekend. If you did not receive one, please email Ms. Heather at wipp450@gmail.com so we can update your contact information.

We hope that you've had a wonderful summer so far.  We're still a few weeks away from the start of our school year, but we're sending out our basic supply list now to give you plenty of time to get ready. At Open House, your child's teacher may have a wish list with single items specific to the classroom.

Remember, our Parent Open House is Wednesday, August 21, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.  This meeting gives our parents an opportunity to meet their child's teacher and get a sneak peek at classrooms.

Our Student Get-Acquainted Day is Thursday, August 22, 9:00-10:30.   We ask that you walk your 3's or 4's child to his/her class at about 9:00, say a quick goodbye, and then return to the classroom at 10:30 to pick up him/her.  2's will have their visit as a "playdate" with mom/dad/grandparent some time between 9:10 and 10:30. Bring your 2 to class, stay and play together for 15/20 minutes and let your child get familiar with his/her new classroom. Your child will have a chance to meet his/her teacher and interact with new friends in the classroom.  You can send supplies in your child's backpack on the Get-Acquainted Day or the first week of classes.  There is no school on Friday, August 23.  Regular classes begin Monday, August 26.

Teachers will receive their class lists the week of August 12th.  You should receive an email and/or a letter from your child's teacher shortly after that.

If your plans have changed and your child will be attending somewhere else this year, please let us know ASAP.  We have a waiting list, and I know there are families who would be very happy to hear that a spot opened up.

Happy Summer!
