About WIPP

Wilmington Island Presbyterian Preschool, known as WIPP, is a half-day accredited preschool located in a stand-alone preschool building on the campus of Wilmington Island Presbyterian Church. Since 1972, WIPP has been providing academic education to young children on Wilmington Island in a loving Christian atmosphere. At WIPP, we believe that children learn best in a play-based environment where they can express their creativity, develop social skills, and learn important academic skills to create a solid foundation for later schooling. We offer activities in our classrooms and on our playgrounds that combine free play, structured social interactions, and planned learning to support these goals. As a church based preschool, we emphasize God's love for all people, celebrate the religious significance of holidays, and include bible stories and songs in our curriculum at all ages.
