Play-Based Learning and WIPP

 At WIPP, our little learners have always enjoy a play-based curriculum! 😊 This month, the NAEYC’s (National Association for the Education of Young Children) peer-reviewed journal, Young Children, dedicated it’s ENTIRE Summer ‘22 issue to the relationship between play and learning. Young Children requires a paid subscription, but here is a free article from the Summer ‘22 issue… all about the reasoning behind & benefits of the type of “playful learning” our preschoolers enjoy! Missing our Preschoolers- So Looking Ahead to August

 This is our first week of the summer without preschoolers in our building… and they are missed!! WIPP is now eagerly anticipating the return of preschool in August. Families also looking ahead to the fall can check out the ‘22-23 supply lists (shown below and also included in the tabbed section of this blog) and, as always, reach out with any questions about the upcoming year!

Summer Programming at WIPP Has Ended for ‘22

 All of our summer programming at WIPP has wrapped up, but WIPP is still here for our families… present, past, and potential future families! Our summer hours will vary now that we don’t have preschoolers in the building daily, but you can always reach us through email.

🌞”All good things comes to an end”… and that statement is true today for our AWESOME Sunshine Summer ’22 at WIPP. It wrapped up today with more animal fun as our older campers had their Old Macdonald Day and our younger campers were little monkeys. 🚜🐴🐷🐮🐒 Sunshine Summer was truly the cherry on top of a wonderful school year at WIPP! ☺️

🌞 Today at Sunshine Summer our older campers had their turn Going on a Bear Hunt 🐻while our younger campers had fun with Old Macdonald’s Farm animals 🐮🐴 🐷 🚜 !! Tomorrow will be our last day of Sunshine Summer ‘22 at WIPP.
