Back to School!

 

Parent Open House & Get Acquainted Day

Our Parent Open House is Wednesday, August 21, at 5:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary

This gives our parents an opportunity to meet their child's teacher and get some

additional details on the start of the school year. This meeting is for parents and

should be over by about 6:15. You can bring your child’s supplies if you would

like to. 

Our Student Get-Acquainted Day is Thursday, August 22, at 9:00.   With our 3s and 4s we ask that you walk your child to his/her class at 9:00, say a

quick goodbye, and then return at 10:30 to pick up him/her.  Your child will have

a chance to meet his/her teacher, interact with friends in the classroom, and have a

little snack.  You can send supplies in your child's bookbag on the Get-Acquainted

Day.  Our 2s have their visit as a "playdate" with mom or dad, (or grandma or

grandpa) some time between 9:00 - 9:40.We ask that you bring your child to his/her class, come in and look around with

him/her, play a little bit and/or do an activity.   After 15-20 minutes, you can pack

up for home--but please talk to your child before classes start up the week of

August 26th about all of the fun things and good friends that he/she will have to

look forward to.  You can send supplies in your child's bookbag on the Get-

Acquainted Day.

        There is no school on Friday, August 23.  Regular classes and carpool begin

        Monday, August 26.
