Play All Day

 So much patience, concentration, attention to detail, and creativity pours out of preschoolers while “at play.” Little preschool fingers develop the fine motor skills required to write “at play.” Best of all, friendships (often lifelong!) develop “at play.” We are so happy to offer a preschool where our preschoolers can be found “at play!”

Groundhog Day 2024!

 Feb. 2 is a Big Day in the world of preschoolers… GROUNDHOGs predict the start of a whole season! 🙃☺️If the predictions based on both Punxsutawney Phil and General Beauregard Lee are correct, we will enjoy early Spring weather! That’s great for playground time!

Guest Reader!

 One of our WIPP moms came to the preschool today to be our Guest Reader. We love having our WIPP parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, another loved ones come be our Guest Readers! It’s fun for the preschoolers, lets them practice their active listening skills, and lets our preschoolers’ loved ones see inside our school during a normal day. It’s a win/win/win. 

February Fun

February starts tomorrow, and it’s a busy month at the preschool! We have Valentine Card exchanges, classroom Valentine’s Day Parties, a 4 day weekend, plus Spring Individual and ClassPictures. ❤️ February is always a fun month for preschoolers!

Registration is Open to All!

 Priority Registration at WIPP has ended, and now registration is open to all on a first come, first serve basis. This website has tabbed pages with more information on our program, but the best way to learn about us is to schedule a tour. Tours our offers daily, and (as of this post) our next available tour will be offered Monday 2/5. Email to schedule a tour! If you are ready to register, you can also do that through this website.

Guest Reader!

 One of our sweet students asked his Aunt to come be a Guest Reader at WIPP, and lucky for us… she agreed! The preschoolers and teachers all loved the book she chose, I Love Monkey by Suzanne Kaufmann. It was a crowd pleaser!

 

Lizzie Comfort Dog Visits WIPP!

 Lizzie Comfort Dog came to WIPP today! This was a highly anticipated day for all (students and teachers alike). Lizzie works for the Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry, and she lives with her Top Dog, Ms. Cindy. Her Top Dog read to our students a book about Lizzie she wrote, and Lizzie let the preschoolers pet and talk to her. Everyone at WIPP loves Lizzie and her Top Dog!
