Fun at the Pumpkin Patch!

All of our 2s and 3s have visited the pumpkin patch! 

The children had a great time seeing all the big, little, bumpy, smooth, green, white and yellow pumpkins. Everyone got to pick out a tiny pumpkin to take home, and some classes fancied them up in different ways. We've also been reading lots of Halloween stories, singing spooky songs and eating fun Halloween snacks!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

October Projects

A Visit from the Firefighters

Yesterday the firefighters came to see us! They showed us the trucks, the gear, and talked with us about how to be safe if there is a fire. We saw how all the equipment they wear keeps them safe, and really isn't scary at all. They even let us shoot the fire hose!

Pumpkin Fun!

Our 4s had a great time painting pumpkins today! Both classes got together to do centers in the garden, enjoying building, potato heads, fall books and painting real pumpkins.
