Water Days!

Our 4s have had some special days this week.  They've been celebrating the end of the year with some outside time--and water and bubbles--finished off with a delicious snack!

Practicing For Mother's Day

Just a reminder that Friday, May 10, is our Mother's Day program and picnic.  We've been hard at work learning our songs and doing lots of practicing!

The program begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary followed by a picnic outside on the lawn.  Please bring your child to his/her classroom between 9:00 and 9:15 that morning, then head over to the Sanctuary to get a seat.  (There will be no carpool, Early Birds, or Lunch Bunch on program day.)  Don't forget to bring a blanket for the picnic.  Children are dismissed with their moms after the program and picnic.  

Photography by Lori will be at school to take pictures of this special day.  The cost is $8.00 for each 5X7 photo and must be paid to Lori that morning when your photo is taken.  Cash or checks (made payable to Photography by Lori) will be accepted.

As a Moms Helping Moms project we're collecting bottles of shampoo for the local food bank (Rising Tyde Food Bank) on Tybee Island.  There's always a shortage of this in their pantry.  If you'd like to contribute, just bring a bottle with you on Friday.  We'll have a bin set up to collect them.

May Update!

St. Jude Bike-a-Thon

UPDATE: 
Thank you for all of the donations to St. Jude.  Our school raised over $1300 to help children with cancer.


Our 3s and 4s had a great time learning about bike safety and then bringing their bikes (or trikes or scooters!) to school for a ride.  We will continue to accept donations for St. Jude Children's Hospital through Friday, April 26th.  Donations can be returned in the envelope we sent home earlier this month or you can go online to https://waystohelp.stjude.org/sjVPortal/public/event/page/displayEventPage.do?eventId=345071&programId=751.
