Christmas Break

 WIPP is on Christmas Break until Wednesday, January 3. After giving such an adorable performance this past Friday, our preschoolers deserve a little time off! ☺️ But… we can’t wait to see them in just over two weeks. Merry Christmas! 🎄

WIPP Staff Luncheon

 Our entire staff at WIPP enjoyed a Christmas luncheon together at Molly McGuire's today! Thank you to our families who let us sneak out at noon today to do this together. It is fun to get all of us together!🎄

Christmas Program Rehearsals Begin

 We began rehearsing for our annual Christmas Program  at WIPP today! 

December Mission of the Month

 For our December Mission of the Month at WIPP, we will be collecting meat and protein canned food for a Holiday Food Drive. Preschoolers can bring cans to school to drop on the donation box through Friday, December 15. All items will be donated to America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia. 

TWO Guest Readers Today

 We have been so very lucky at WIPP this year to have wonderful volunteers give their time to be Guest Readers at our school! Today we had not one but TWO great Guest Readers… a WIPP mom and WIPP grandma who both happen to be professional educators themselves! 🍎☺️ One read Little Blue Truck’s Christmas, and the other read The Gingerbread Man.

Guest Reader

 One of our WIPP moms came today to be our Guest Reader! She captivated the preschoolers as she read Four Autumn Friends by Tomie de Paola. ❤️ We love having Guest Readers come to our preschool! 

Rehearsing for our Christmas Program

 The preschoolers are working hard getting ready for their Christmas Program with Mrs. Molnar! They all got together with their age levels for rehearsals today, and the PreK 4s recording their speaking lines. Just over two weeks until showtime! 🥰 

Back to Preschool After Thanksgiving Break

 After a week off of preschool for Thanksgiving Break, the preschoolers were thrilled to see their friends this morning! They were positively joyful playing outside in the crisp sunshine together. ☺️ Preschoolers don’t have cases of The Mondays! #wippreschool #prechool #firstfriends

Guest Reader (a Turkey!)

 One of our WIPP moms came today to be our Guest Reader today. She read Pete the Cat the First Thanksgiving… and she came dressed as a turkey! ☺️ All of the preschoolers loved it (of course, as did the teachers!) but the best part was seeing her daughter’s reaction (and the reaction of one of her daughter’s friends) when she realized her mommy was the turkey. We really appreciate our Guest Readers coming to WIPP! 

Thanksgiving Activities at WIPP

 

Our preschoolers have been busy doing all the Thanksgiving Things this week at WIPP! We are certainly thankful for our preschoolers.

Visit to Summer Breeze

 Today our neighbors at Summer Breeze invited the PreK class to come do a craft for World Kindness Day. They had the materials prepped and ready for our preschoolers to make Turkey magnets, and they helped them with the craft. To thank them for doing this, our preschoolers sang two Turkey songs. Then one of the residents used an instrument he owns to make a Turkey call, and he shared some Turkey facts with everyone. It was a lovely way to spread kindness back and forth and “love thy neighbor.”
