WIPP Christmas Program 2014
Thank you to everyone who helped to make our Christmas program such a success. Thank you also to everyone who sent in cookies for our Cookie Party. All of the leftovers are being donated as dessert to People Helping People, who will be feeding the homeless this Sunday in Forsyth Park at 12:45. Thanks to Mrs. Knudsen for taking care of this!

Christmas Program Songs!
We've been practicing our songs for our Christmas program--and getting ready to perform in front of everybody on Friday, December 19, at 9:15 in the Sanctuary. Here are the words to all of the songs that we all sing together. You might have heard us singing some of these already at home, but now you can sing along with us!
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
Twinkle, twinkle little star (Hold up hands and open/shut fingers.)
How I wonder what you are (Hold hands to the side as if asking a question.)
Up above the world so high (Point up.)
Like a diamond in the sky (Make a diamond with hands.)
Twinkle twinkle little star (same as above)
How I wonder what you are (same as above)
Mary Had a Baby Boy (tune of Mary Had a Little Lamb) (Pretend to hold baby Jesus and rock him.)
Mary had a baby boy, baby boy, baby boy.
Mary had a baby boyAnd his name was Jesus.
Little Baby in the Manger
Little baby in the manger, (Pretend to hold baby Jesus.)
I love you. (Cross arms over chest.)
Lying there to earth a stranger, (Hold arms out in front.)
I love you. (Cross arms over chest.)
Wise men saw the star and answered, (Point up in the air.)
“I love you.” (Cross arms over chest.)
Shepherds heard the angels singing, (Cup hand to ear.)
“I love you” (Cross arms over chest.)
Go Tell It On The Mountain (2Xs)
Go, tell it on the mountain (Hold hands up like a mountain.)
Over the hills and everywhere (Make bumpy hills with hands.)
Go, tell it on the mountain (Hold hands up like a mountain.)
That Jesus Christ is born
Knock, Knock, Knock Went Joseph
Knock, knock, knock, went Joseph at the inn in Bethlehem. (Pretend to knock on a door)
Can you shelter a family and be a big help to them? (Hold hands to the side as if asking a question.)
"No room, no room," said the man in Bethlehem. (Shake one finger back and forth slowly.)
"No room, no room," said the man in Bethlehem. (Shake one finger back and forth slowly.)
Knock, knock, knock, went Joseph at the stable door so bright. (Pretend to knock on door.)
Can you shelter a family, for Christ will be born tonight? (Hold hands to the side as if asking a question.)
"Come in, come in,"said the beasts of Bethlehem. (Make a welcoming gesture with hands.)
Come in, come in,"said the beasts of Bethlehem. (Make a welcoming gesture with hands.)
We also invite the audience to join us in singing the refrain to We Wish You a Merry Christmas at the end of the program.
We wish you a Merry Christmas.
We wish you a Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year!

We're Getting Ready
We've been practicing for our Thanksgiving program and hope to see you all there on Tuesday, November 25, at 9:15. Please bring your child to the classroom between 8:50 and 9:05, then head to the Sanctuary to get a good seat. Our 4s are toward the left side of the altar (near Summer Breeze); our 3s are on the right side (near the parking lot); and when our 2s join us to perform, they are front and center!
